"All About Eve"

What is the meaning of life? A 1983 film by Monty Python. Is there life after death? As a consequence of one's mere being, the would has forver changed. one's legacy is one's existance. thus life after death. What amazes you about the world? That the world exists. That we exist. The power of music. Ideas. stories. art. babies. nature. time. space. evolution. What are you here for? To contemplate the past, consume the present and consider the future. Then challenge average and conservative ideas with action. Whats the most important stuff in your life? imagination and creativity. sharing and ideas. learning and laughter. Five words that sum up you values. Integrity. Generousity. Consideration. Loyalty. Humility. What motto sums up your approach to life? Work to become, not to acquire. you only have one life. for those people who read this - please, please... follow your dreams. Stay true to yourself. The best feeling is to accomplish what others say you cannot do.

you only live once - so go and and do it.

A weed is no more than a flower in disguise.

The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them. I don't know if anyone reads this shit, but if you are, remember - to be able think creatively, we must be able to look afresh at what we normally take for granted. so add a little creativity to your life. i dare you.

Sometimes when i'm down the street, i pretend im really in Melbourne.

How can we justify locking people up for commiting actions that have no demonstratable repercussions to any one else? If someones actions compromise the rights or will of another individual, then fine, punish them. But if someones actions dont affect anyone other than the person commiting the actions, then what business is it of the state's? I dont do drugs and i think that drug use is terribly destructive and dangerous, but i dont see how the coundry can arrest an adult for doing something to their own body, An enlightend country should warn it citizens about dangerous activities, but it shouldnt be allowed to lock people up for doing things to themselves. I dont want a government making decisions regarding what i can put in to or do to my own body. Because we find something distastful, it does not justify criminal declaration.

It's strange because sometimes, I read a book, and I think I am the people in the book.

So, I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.

All things aside, I'm in Year 11 this year, and with work piling up i am starting to seriously think about shcool, and the education system in general. Please - read this exerpt from article i found. Its presents us with great justification on why todays education system needs to be re-established...

"students are forced into a methodological way of thinking that deprives them of creativity.
Students cannot explore themselves or their creativity with the current schooling system. Rather than being given the opportunity to explore their interests, their talents, and the activities that make them feel happy, students are forced to learn topics and methods that ‒ while beneficial ‒ ultimately deprive them of being creative and finding who they are."

Remember guys, you can only live life to the full when you're in the moment - the past and present are just distractions. Adios x
