tonight i can finally devote my consiousness to FASHION BLOGS AGAIN!!!!!! i finally came across Hanneli Mustaparta's blog. and the only thing that spring into my little mind is; WHY NOT ANY SOONER??.


Anyway, Alexander McQueen anyone? There something in all these looks that I really like and I think they can be recreated at an affordable price. I can imagine important and influential women in the fashion industry being photographed at shows in the above looks, I can also see Zara going for simpler looks in their lookbook.


I really like how subtle the designer (Sarah Burton) behind Alexander McQueen's resort 2012 collection has kept the classic safari park look. The classic combination of white, camel and brown has been elegantly put together and the animal print bag cements the whole safari park, travel look. The look underneath the Amica magazine cover shows how simple it is to turn a white dress into a sophisticated travel look and I love the combination of grey and camel in the look adjacent to it. I have to also add that the not-so tight bun in the model's hair adds an element of casualness to the quite sophisticated looks which is well thought out: I really like the collection.

I don't really know what "intellectual" means, but if it means you've got a desire to learn, you've got a desire to look for things that haven't been presented to you, then, maybe. I think that "intellectual" is quite an exclusive word. I think it's just for anyone that has a thirst or a hunger to improve themselves, or a yearning to escape from somewhere to get to a better place.

How can we justify locking people up for commiting actions that have no demonstratable repercussions to any one else? If someones actions compromise the rights or will of another individual, then fine, punish them. But if someones actions dont affect anyone other than the person commiting the actions, then what business is it of the state's? I dont do drugs and i think that drug use is terribly destructive and dangerous, but i dont see how the coundry can arrest an adult for doing something to their own body, An enlightend country should warn it citizens about dangerous activities, but it shouldnt be allowed to lock people up for doing things to themselves. I dont want a government making decisions regarding what i can put in to or do to my own body. Because we find something distastful, it does not justify criminal declaration.

Tonight is the OPENING NIGHT of THE LARAMIE PROJECT.

After working with this ensemble for 20 odd weeks... I've come to realise how lucky i am to be a part of "The Studio". I remember i had always wanted to 'act' when i was yonger. Act, as in, get up on stage and raise my voice a little bit. It hasnt been until the 2nd year of MASTERCLASSS (Hothouse 2010) that i've TRULY found my passion for the performing arts, and theatre in particular. Living in a society that demands conformity, where emotions and opinions are withheld to avoid public scrutiny and criticism, what better way to practise being human than in imaginary circumstances where young people are permitted, required even, to experience the full range of themselves in the service of speaking TRUTHFULLY.

and this is what i want to do for the rest of my life.
